The New York Football Giants play host to the Indianapolis Colts tonight at MetLife Stadium. It's the second preseason game for both teams, and former Giants' star running back Ahmad Bradshaw makes his return to the Big Apple. But because of lingering foot issues, Bradshaw will not play tonight.
After the team's blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills 44-20 last week, Colts' owner Jim Irsay took to Twitter to apologize to fans. Irsay tweeted, "Many starters played briefly or were nursing little injuries, but it was a crap performance,my apologies/My commanders got n earful from me!"
Twitterland was mostly quiet last week for the G-men after their 18-13 win against the Steelers in Pittsburgh. One of the storylines was rookie defensive end Damontre Moore, who blocked a punt and was a disruptive force against Pittsburgh's offense all night. Moore will not play tonight because of an injured shoulder, but Giants' co-captain Justin Tuck should be in the lineup.
In addition to the defensive line, New York's linebacking situation is still unsettled, so expect to see a mixture of combinations out on the field tonight in Big Blue's front seven.
Here are five players to watch tonight.
