There are only three actors in the latest endeavor at the Alhambra Theater & Dining, nonetheless, the trio deliver a whole lot of dialogue during the present showing of “I Ought to Be In Pictures”.
Richard Karn (Herb) is as young and handsome as he was back in his ‘Home Improvement’ days. He renders some great lessons in relationships as two develop on the stage.
Lisa Valdini (Steffy) is compassionate this time in her role. Her husband Tod Booth first came to the Alhambra in January of 1984 to guest direct Lisa Valdini in the role of Libby.
Chloe Golden (Libby) delivers most of the dialogue with her NYC accent. As previously stated, there are a lot of lines to remember and Chloe, Lisa and Richard gives them in a way to have that audience laughing one minute and almost in tears, the next minute.
Chef DeJuan brings a culinary adventure to match the "flavors" of the show. The man did not disappoint his guests. In the ‘LIST PHOTOS’ you will discover the complete menu forI Ought to Be In Pictures

California Citrus Salad
California Citrus Salad with fresh strawberries, kiwi, citrus segments, almonds and citrus vinaigrette. Very nice and light. OR you may choose...
2nd choice Act I
Palm Spring Roll Napa cabbage, avocado, cream cheese, and julienned vegetables wrap in a light spring roll, fried and served with sweet chili sauce. This was soooooooooooo good.
Salmon Florentine Encrout
Salmon Florentine Encrout with cucumber salad, goat cheese polenta and asparagus. My friend from NC said that this was the best piece of fish that she had in awhile. Almost didn't get the picture.
Tri-color Tortellini Carbonara
Tri-color Tortellini Carbonara with pancetta, spinach, diced tomato and bacon with White cream sauce. I had this main course and it was scrumptious. The rolls were great for 'sopping' up the gravy.
Sirloin Au Poivre
Sirloin Au Poivre with garlic mashed Red Bliss potatoes, and corn soufflé. My husband said that this was a 'melt-in-your-mouth' piece of meat and the gravy. Delicious!
blackBerries with sweet crumb topping
Fresh blackberries with sweet crumb topping and vanilla bean ice cream. Jennifer had this dessert and there was room for it. Also a masterpiece in itself.
Mandarin Orange Cake
Mandarin Orange Cake with pineapple icing. This dessert was very, very, very light and delicious. Ms. "V", John Warfield and Levan had this feather lite delectable from Chef DeJuan
Tapioca Pudding with a strawberry on the top. If you like tapioca, you'll make room for this. It is not on the menu, but you can ask your server if there is any in the kitchen & enjoy!
