It was a beautiful afternoon for the DAI Super Saturday event this weekend and turnout was good! The Humane Society of Greater Dayton brought some of their cute, adoptable pets and some of the paintings made by shelter pets! These very unique works of art were up for silent auction! There were plenty of creative art opportunities for the kids, including making their own pet rock, making a water bottle dog toy or kitty cat feather chaser, and cat and dog mask making. The admission fee was waived with a donation to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
Then there were the adoptable pets! The Australian cattle dog puppies stole the show, but there were some darling grown dogs as well - a pug mix, a Chihuahua mix and some terrier mixes, all very well-behaved.. You can see a video of the Aussie cattle dog mix puppies here. Check out the slideshow for photos of this wonderful summer event.
