How to homeschool on sick days

No one enjoys having sick kids, but it's a fact of life. Everyone's child will be down with a bug at some point. For traditionally schooled children, a sick day usually means a missed day of classes. For homeschoolers, however, a sick day doesn't have to be a lost day. Check out this list of ways to keep the learning going, even when your child's not feeling his best.

A sick day doesn't have to be a missed day, but that doesn't necessarily mean that your child should be expected to do it all. Having time to rest and relax is an important part of the recovery process, so be grateful for what can be accomplished, and let the rest go until your household is healthy.

In the meantime, however, there are plenty of things you can do to keep your child both occupied and entertained during his recovery period. View this list for ideas of how to keep the learning going, even when your child is under the weather.
