God wants us to experience His presence. He wants us to be close to Him at all times because He is close to us. However, we are not aware of His presence.
What does it mean to experience the presence of God?
That question is asked by so many; however, the Bible tells us that we experience the presence of God on a daily basis provided we make ourselves available to do so.
God is omnipresent. That means He is everywhere at all times whether we are aware of it or not. Experiencing God's presence is simply coming to the realization that God is near to us. God is present through His Spirit that meets with our spirit when we align ourselves with Him.
How, then, can we experience the presence of God?
In order to be aware of God's presence, we can participant in certain activities or exercises. These activities or exercises are called spiritual disciplines. These spiritual disciplines will guide you into God's presence.
There are many spiritual disciplines such as meditation, prayer, fasting, reading scriptures, submission, service and others.
