There's never a lack of inspiration for making cakes on the internet. Just take a look at all the different boards on Pinterest. It's enough to give someone a toothache. Either that a plan a party every single day just to be able to create them all. Sometimes though, you run across that one totally unique never seen before cake that you have to make and then you stop because once you read the instructions you find out how truly complicated it is. Then again, sometimes you run across a gem of a cake that not only is fun to look at but fun to eat as well.
That's what happened when I found this to die for Piñata cake at A Subtle Revelry. Not only do I love pinatas at a party (it's part of my culture!) but the thought of having surprises inside a cake was just too much to ask for and made me think, 'Why didn't I think of that?'. But sadly since I didn't I give all the credit to Victoria at A Subtle Revelry for this and you can thank her too once you create this one of a kind piñata cake.
