We all have our favorite children's books. And many of them feature made up worlds with their own languages, cultures, and geography. Did you know that some character and place names from science fiction and fantasy children's literature have made their way into astronomy?
One of Saturn's moons is Titan. And those wacky, kidlit-lovin' astronomers have named some of the features of Titan after fictitious places created by fantasy and science fiction literature titans J.R.R. Tolkien and Frank Herbert.
