Friday, Sept. 6, 8 p.m. - Anne Burrell gives a live interactive cooking demo with recipes and secrets of her kitchen
Saturday, Sept. 7, 8 p.m. – Red Bank Mayor Pat Menna will compete against local restaurateur Victor Rallo in a throw-down pasta contest with judging by Food Network celebrity Joe Bastianich
Sept. 6-8 - The Annual Asbury Park Oysterfest is back and better than ever. Oysters, seafood & traditional festival fare will be presented from more than 25 vendors including: Mumford’s, Tiger’s Tale, Lusty Lobster, Red Hook Lobster, Bacon on Wheels and Ike’s Famous Crab cakes. Beer, wine and fun soft drinks will be available throughout the three-day culinary event located outside the iconic Carousel building where the downtown meets the Asbury Park waterfront. Hours: Friday, 5-10 p.m.; Saturday, 12 noon-10 p.m.; Sunday, 12 noon-6 p.m. Admission is $3.
September 8, 4 p.m. – 12 midnight -The Foodshed Alliance will host its third annual Farm to Fork Dinner and Wine Tasting at Alba Vineyard. A cocktail hour and seven-course wine-pairing dinner will be presented by seven of Northern New Jersey’s most reputable chefs, featuring locally produced food from farms throughout northern New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. Expert winemakers have hand selected each course’s pairing, which will begin with gourmet passed hors d’oeuvres during a VIP vineyard tour and conclude with elegant al fresco dining on the stunning grounds.
