This easy and delicious recipe is made with all natural and gluten free ingredients and is safe for most all dogs. This recipe for homemade baked dog treats is:
Dog breath freshening (if you add the optional dried parsley)
Delicious and made with all human grade ingredients you probably have in your pantry!
- Vegetable oil cooking spray
- 2 cups whole wheat flour, plus more for dusting
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons dried parsley (optional)
- 1 cup peanut butter
Mix all dog treat recipe ingredients
In a large non metallic mixing bowl, combine the following ingredients and mix well:
2 cups whole wheat flour, plus more for dusting
1/2 cup oats
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup peanut butter

Roll and cut the homemade dog treat dough
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Roll the homemade peanut butter dog treat dough until it is 1/8" thick. Cut into your choice of shapes and sizes for the treats that best suits your dog.
Carefully transfer treats to a parchment lined cookie baking sheet.
Bake, cool, serve your homemade dog treats
Bake treats in a 375 degree oven for 20 minutes or until the edges of the treats begin to turn a touch of golden brown.
Remove from oven and carefully transfer to cookie cooling rack.
Once completely cooled, enjoy!
