If you live in Orlando and you want to see, sit in, and even test-drive the latest cars in a relaxed, no-pressure environment, then you go to the Central Florida International Auto Show. It's as simple as that.
Motor Trend hosted the 2014 CFIAS at the Orange County Convention Center over the Thanksgiving weekend (as is tradition), offering would-be car buyers the chance to evaluate the 2014 models before stepping into the showroom, and the hottest concept cars, exotic supercars, and heavily-modified specialty cars were also on hand to whet the appetites of car aficionados.
Manufacturers from all over the world brought their 2014 models to the Central Florida International Auto Show, including the Detroit Three - Ford, GM, and Chrysler, a big showing from Japan with Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, and Subaru in attendance, the South Korean Hyundai/Kia team, and a special appearance by Ferrari of Central Florida ensured there was some European representation as well.
Browse through the highlights list above to see the most notable appearances at the show, and ride along as I go for a ride in the 2014 Jeep Cherokee as part of the Camp Jeep off-road exhibit.
