Harley-Davidson sure knows how to bring on a big show. For the motorcycle company's 110th anniversary this Labor Day weekend, fans of the firm drove in droves after showing up in Milwaukee.
According to MSN Money on Aug. 30, some 100,000 humans -- most of whom were expected to arrive on some pretty handsome hogs -- were about to descend on Harley-Davidson's hometown.
From the looks of things, this number may have been exceeded. Not only that, but all 50 states were said to have been represented by enthusiastic riders who made it to the birthplace of this very important American icon, a truly legendary brand of machine.
To be sure, the Wisconsin city was amped up on Friday, starting things off right for a weekend's worth of motorcycle parades and demonstrations, rocking bands, and VIP tours of the notable Harley-Davidson museum.
