We love this time of year, when the leaves are falling in Nashville and we can see that so many of our neighbors have started to decorate around their homes with the colors of the autumn season. So we've gathered up some photos we've made which will depict this time of year, and perhaps we can give you some thoughts on how you might want to embellish your own Halloween decorations here in Nashville.
Many people in Nashville like to use bales of hay, and place those in their yards, with a 'scarecrow' propped up beside the hay. Pumpkins always go well for part of the Halloween decorations, whether they are left whole and decorated, or whether they've been carved into a scary Jack-o-lantern.
In the past we've seen those huge black or orange trash bags, filled full with the leaves that have fallen in the yard, which have been raked up and stuffed into the bags. That makes a neat way to serve two purposes at once, get rid of the leaves (after Halloween, place those full bags at the trash pickup site for disposal) and it decorates the yard to show off your fall decorations for the Halloween season.
Leave us a note in the comment section about your own decorations for the fall and autumn season and for Halloween season in the month of October.
