The fashions of the 55th annual Grammy Awards included an eclectic mix of aluminum like dresses, leathery gowns with pointy spikes, glittery tulle, and what looked on some to be sheer madness. Yet, in the midst of it all, there were a select few that rocked the event.
Throughout Carrie Underwood's performance of "Blown Away" and "Two Black Cadillacs," various images including, multi-colored stars, red roses and butterflies were projected onto the front of her princess style gown.
Solange Knowles was glamorous in her emerald green Ralph & Russo gown with thigh-high split. She was rocking the natural curls and the orange studded shoes were the perfect finishing touch.
Unlike others who chose to go with revealing cuts in their dresses, MC Lyte's black gown was all elegance and sophistication.
The gentlemen weren't too shabby either. Chris Brown was wooing Rihanna as he donned a sharp two-piece white Lanvin suit. My favorite of the ensemble were the Dries Van Noten shoes. Justin Timberlake was also dashing in his black suit and bowtie and black and white shoes.
