View 5 photosGolden Spike (GSC) is putting together a MESHworks™ of capable private aerospace vendors in an attempt to return humans to the moon by modifying existing technology developed by American Aerospace companies for use by NASA. At this week’s Workshop on Golden Spike Human Lunar Scientific Exploration at Houston’s Lunar and Planetary Institute GSC defined the steps that will be needed to return humans to the moon and bring them back again safely. GSC and workshop participants examined current technology and concluded a manned lunar landing is possible at about the same cost as currently planned robotics missions.
