Get Out of There Cat is a fun read for all ages

If you have a cat – or if you have ever seen a cat – you will enjoy the photos in this book. In fact, rabbit owners will get a kick (hah) out of this as well, as our long-eared friends also tend to end up in a variety of interesting places where they do not belong.

Get Out of There Cat, by Kristina Knapp with Sam Stall, is an entertaining book with photos of cats at the Scrabble Board, cats in Ramen Noodle cartons, cats who have stuffed themselves in small baskets, cats who are actually lying on a shelf in the refrigerator, and cats draped across the top of the shower doors!

There are 150 full-color photos in the book, which is set for release in March 2013 (Running Press; $12.00 US / $13.99 CAN). The captions are, in my opinion, pretty dumbed-down, but you aren't buying the book for the captions anyway, are you? The captions do have the advantage of making the book quite appealing for younger children; an elementary-school-aged child will no doubt be quite entertained by the captions, as will even younger children to whom you are reading the book aloud. Everyone will enjoy the photos!

This hard-bound book would fit nicely in an Easter basket, and can be found at Barnes and Noble, including the Barnes and Noble online site.
