I met Diana Pressnell, the owner of G33k & Co (The sparkly teal/purple kid friendly booth) at Gen Con. I picked up a Hello Kitty dice bag for my daughter as well as a set of large colored dice and The SurReal Mother Geek role-playing game. We caught up after the con to learn more about G33k & Co's plans.
Michael Tresca (MT): It was great seeing you at Gen Con!
Diana Pressnell (DP): This was my very first convention ever, though my partner, Paul Lell has been to several as an author, including Gen Con. We were in Entrepreneur's Avenue, one of the 6 winners of Gen Con's Marketing Fellowship Awards for new vendors, which is how we ended up with such a large booth! For this reason we don't have any comparison from a previous year, but you have to start somewhere right? Lol. My partner did do better than he has in the previous years he only had a table in the Author's Area.
