Canandaigua, New York, located at the northern end of Canandaigua Lake in the Finger Lakes region, is home to numerous wineries, the Finger Lakes Performing Arts Center, the New York Wine and Culinary Center, and the beautiful Sonnenberg Gardens and Mansion State Historic Park. Sonnenberg (which means “sunny hill” in German) Mansion was built in 1887, and its gardens were designed and built between 1902 and 1919.
