Games to seek out in 2013

If you're still all bent out of shape about the new look, get over yourself and give this game a try. The combat is stellar and the new storyline isn't half bad either. There are definitely some dialogue parts I could do with that, but other than that, it's been the game I've enjoyed the most this year so far. Dante is still just as crazy and wild as he used to be and while one could say it's for a different audience, it's just a different take on a great character.Nilin has no clue who she is and no doubt seeks answers. Her former employer, Memorize erased her memories and the girl walks the streets of Neo-Paris, set in the year 2084, having no clue at all about anything the is going on. She sets out on a journey as a "memory hunter" and naturally you will find out about Nilin throughout the game. It's been some time and lists now exist. Time to get our hands dirty and try one out. These are games that I feel are worth looking into for 2013 thus far. Keep in mind, one of these games (DmC) is already out. This list is also in no particular order and was simply put in the order I thought of them at the time of writing this. Let get right into it.

  • Everyone's favorite dual pistol wielding female is back, but this time she is in a tale of uprising. Lara isn't quite the tough girl we are used to. The reboot for the series seems to tell a origin story of sorts where she builds up to eventually become the Lara Croft we all know and love. A tale of suffering and how she became what we all know her as.   • This is the wrong person to be expecting a solid opinion of BioShock from. The first game was a work of art but personally my knowledge of the series is limited. The thought was always, great game, but a slow one. Not so easy to just jump into. BioShock Infinite seems like a game I'd enjoy. There seems to be more action in this installment which got my attention. Perhaps a rent is needed in the future. The trailers definitely got me interested. The question is will Columbia be as well respected as Rapture was?
  • No matter what the story for this game is, it will all come down to the same experience as every other GTA game. Silly stunts, running from the cops, and "hot coffee". Regardless of personal feelings, Rockstar always delivers with the Grand Theft Auto series and this installment is sure to be no different. The amount of detail and time that goes into their sandbox environments is simply amazing to look at and with a decent story to go with, it all blends to make a experience one can expect from a AAA game title.
