While it was introduced in another article, this is the first true “episode” of Game Free: a new article series about free games. Indie games are the big thing nowadays. Surprisingly Sony has led the PS4 march with not only AAA exclusives, but also small little indie wonders like Octodad and The Witness. It’s odd to have seen this much love go into the indie scene from the past generation and now present generation of console gaming when it’s always been popular among niche crowds on the PC.

Ah but enough asides. Game Free is here to breathe life into both new and old indie titles just as the past console generation did. After all some of the best games on the PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii were indie games. But let’s travel back to the home of indie games: the PC. And for these first three, well, they’re certainly out there.
