But now that technology allows us to put lights pretty much wherever we go, it's only natural that companies have put lights in products we use each and every day. In many cases, the reason is safety and that has been a concern for years with joggers, bike and motorcycle riders and first responders that many times spend hours and hours in dark or dangerous locales.

These devices with light run the gamut of safety belts to sweatshirts to smartphone accessories. Throw in an umbrella and a little device you can take to hotel rooms and check how clean they are.

You can never be too safe, especially in dark or dangerous conditions. Why not add a little light?
