Fourth of July in Las Vegas is always a hot one. Thankfully there are a variety of attractions, new and old that can help you beat the heat. Make sure to check out the new waterpark, Cowabunga Bay, bottomless Champagne at Fizz and discounts at museums around the valley.

Champagne lounge, Fizz at Caesars Palace is offering a “Pop & Shop” special for $50 on July 4 and 5. Each day from noon to 4 p.m. guests will get a commemorative Champagne flute with bottomless refills and a gift bag with samples and deals from stores in The Forum Shops.

Sky Combat Ace is inaugurating it’s new “Operation Red Flag” experience with a special offer for Fourth of July weekend. Modeled after the world famous military training exercise, Operation Red Flag includes aerial dogfighting experience for up to five guests, flight suit and call-sign patch, 2 hour non-exclusive SCA hangar rental, limo transfer to and from SCA and refreshments before and after your flight. The cost is $5,999 for three people and $7,999 for  four people. Guests that book flights from now until the end of July 4th weekend will get the fourth person’s flight for free on Operation Red Flag as well as any of the following four SCA packages: Top Gun, Sky Combat and Adrenaline Rush.

The Children's Discovery Museum is celebrating America’s birthday by offering $4 off admission for both adults and children on Friday, July 14. Regular admission is $12 per person for children 1 to 99. Cool garage parking is free.

Henderson’s newest waterpark, Cowabunga Bay will celebrate its grand opening on friday July, 4, 2014. Beat the heat in the wave pool, water slides, lazy river and water rides  or just sit in the shade with an ice cream treat. General Admission is $35.99 for adults and $27.99 for children. Kids under 2 are free with discounts available for Military and Seniors. Cowabunga Bay is located in Henderson near the Galleria Mall.

Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders can get free admission to the Las Vegas Natural History Museum, Discovery Children’s Museum and the Springs Preserve on July 5 and 6. Simply present your debit or credit card at the museums to get one free admission for the day.
