Claim more withholdings

Claiming more withholdings will get you more money on your paycheck through the year. However, be careful about the amount of times you do so. You do not want to have to pay the government back taxes when you file.

Get promoted

Getting a job promotion is probably the best way and most guaranteed way to get more money on your paycheck. In most industries, when you get bumped up in the company, so does your pay.

Switch shifts or departments

Switching shifts is another way to receive extra income on your pay check. Many companies offer higher wages for employees who work second or third shifts.
