SeaWorld Orlando opened their brand new Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin area earlier this year. SeaWorld closed their old Penguin Encounter area to make way for this brand new state-of-the-art attraction that showcases Penguins and everything about them.
After guests ride Empire of the Penguin, they exit the ride right into the Penguin habitat at SeaWorld. SeaWorld offers guests the chance to see four different types of Penguins at their park. Click the list to the left to see what types of Penguins they have and some fun facts about them.
SeaWorld Orlando also offers a Penguin Up Close tour that takes you behind the scenes of Antarctica and the life of the zoological team in Antarctica. The tour is about $60 per person. The 45 minute walking tour is highly informational and the best part is you get to touch a penguin and take photos with it! Park admission is not included with the tour but is required to take the tour.
