Thousands of people are gathering for the 2013 Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco. The festivities began at 11 a.m. on Sunday, September 29, on Folsom Street in San Francisco's South of Market District.
The Folsom Street Fair, now in its 30th year, attracts tourists from all around the world. Organizers ask for a $10 donation at the gates and hope to raise more than $600,000 to go to various community organizations. It runs from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. along Folsom Street between 7th and 12th Streets.
