I have watched 150 films from 2013 so you don't have to.
And we will start with the bottom 10 percent. These are the 15 worst films I have seen this year.
The cinematic piles of garbage on today's list either make little-to-no sense or just enduring their running time was a chore. They are unfunny comedies, predictable thrillers and boring action flicks.
The one commonality among all of these debacles: they are, across-the-board, not worth suffering the running time.
Great films inspire and invoke deep human emotion. These terrible films only invoke frustration, impatience and an intense resentment toward everyone involved in the production of these movies.
Simple rules for this list: 1) I have to have seen it and 2) any ranked film had a Video-on-Demand, limited or national theatrical release date in the U.S. between January 1, 2013 and Dec. 31, 2013. Film festival screenings do not count.
Because a list of 150 films would be a tough lot to plow through, this list will be broken down into segments of 25 ranked films.
