Sun Deck – Whenever the ship is leaving port to see the sails rise majestically as the ship goes full sail into the open sea. It is accompanied by music from the movie, “1492,” called “Conquest of Paradise,” along with the ship’s officers – including the captain – and lots of passengers taking photographs. It is especially dramatic at sunset.

Life aboard the Star Clipper is languid, relaxed and convivial – much like traveling on a private yacht.
