Fashion Week Brooklyn Spring Summer 2014

Fashion Week Brooklyn held their four-day Spring Summer 2014 fashion show event from October 3 to October 6th 2013, in Industry City, Brooklyn New York. The event featured more than twenty-five fashion designers from around the world. I was about to work with, and cover several designer collections from the first three days. Here is a list of some of the shows.

Thursday October 3, 2013: Eco-friendly/Innovative/Ready-to-wear
ONB2 Studio - Vintage eco-friendly bridal gowns by designer Erin Gabriella Birmingham, that are stylish, as well as Earth and Lesbian friendly.
Maxwell William High School - Five high school students presented lustrous womenswear.

High School of Fashion Industries - Womenswear made with classic cuts and style, mixed with avant-garde feathers and branches. The collection was styled by Erica Brandford, April Lynn and fashion students from the High School of Fashion Industries.

Anrayis Designs - Canadian fashion designer Andrea Fitzgerald debuted her collection of eleven formal evening gowns.

Draft Minerva - Womenswear & menswear designed by fine artist Dario Mohr.

Howareyou - Urban chic women's and men's wear plus maternity clothing by Germany designer Anna-Hoa Masche.

Friday October 4, 2013:
Rosbinna - Colorful, stylish and beautiful African inspired dresses and ball gowns by Rosemary Iwezor.

Joyce Pilarsky - Filipino beauty pageant winner, model, writer, activist and designer Joyce Penas Pilarsky, presented a rich, intricate, detailed and pretty collection of dresses made from traditional fabrics from the Philippines.

OMI - Menswear & womenswear by Sai One (Angel Rodriguez). The collection featured harnesses, and very cool hand bags.

Bradley Douglas Jordan - Breezy and pastel menswear and womenswear by Bradley Jordan makes hanging out on the beach look good.

Apollonius - By Norwegian fashion designer Emma Liljedahl displayed ten different takes on a white and grey/blue design pattern.

Saturday October 5, 2013:
Trash - Comic book superhero themed prints on womenswear by talented Polish fashion designer Angela Brejt.

Kemunto - Womenswear with an African DNA by Lydia Cutler by way of Scotland.
