Paris Photo is coming to Los Angeles this weekend. This is the US edition of the celebrated international art fair for photography and moving image. Presented will be historical and contemporary bodies of works by renowned and new artists set in the soundstages of the legendary Paramount Pictures Studios. Ticket prices range from $20 to $40 and can be purchased here.

Kids 4 Kids 5K and 10K Run/Walk

Children can participate in this year's Kids 4 Kids Run/Walk. This is a fun event that has a very wonderful mission to create a happier and healthier future for all children. Money raised will benefit the Children's Cancer Research Fund. This national campaign has been able to raise over $2 million in their first eight years.

State of the Arts Symposium

State of the Arts Symposium

The Los Angeles Public Library is hosting the Arts Alliance for Humanity's "State of the Arts" Symposium. The event is free and open to the public. Come and celebrate the importance of the arts and engage in a roundtable discussion consisting of art educators, scholars and alumni from Yale School of Drama, UC Berkeley, Columbia, Princeton, UCLA and USC as well as public health workers and artists.

LA Heritage Day 2014

The L.A. Heritage Alliance will host the 4th Annual L.A. Heritage Day at the El Pueblo Historical Monument, in association with the El Pueblo Park Association. This is the location of the birthplace of Los Angeles and home of the world famous Olvera Street. There will be over 70 heritage organizations from across L.A., plenty of family activities, tours and a look at some historical vehicles. The event is free to the public.
