Last night on TNA Impact, Eric Young not only won a 10 man Gauntlet match to become the No. 1 contender for the TNA World Title, he went to defeat Brutus Magnus for the title later in the night. While Young is one of the hardest working and likeable guys on the TNA roster, having him win the title after being a non-factor for months doesn’t make much sense. At the same time, TNA has really fallen off the radar the past few weeks with all the Wrestle Mania and having Young win the gold gives them some publicity with wrestling fans at the very least.
