Including all the reasons for visiting the National Archives at Atlanta would make a list longer than eight and be as varied as the people making the trip. A separate list would name each staff member and thank them for their dedication to answering the variety of patron questions; a list of resources such as text records, microfilm, and public computer access; a list of the free programs such as the Friday Freebies, symposiums, and monthly webinars. Join us for the free programs; write your list of reasons for going to the National Archives at Atlanta; join the group of volunteers. The December 2013 webinar will include documents that will add interest to family narratives. These documents have been discovered by volunteers.
The contact information for the National Archives of Atlanta is 5780 Jonesboro Rd, Morrow, GA 30260, telephone 770-968-2100, email address firstname.lastname@example.org, website www.archives.gov/atlanta, and www.facebook.com/nationalarchivesatlanta.
Thank you staff and volunteers for providing open records to researchers.
This article demonstrates eight different documents with family history information. Evidence that would not be verified or even known without access to these records.
