A very weak cool front moved through the region this afternoon. This will lead to an ever so slight decrease in the temperature for Saturday. Expect morning lows in the lower 40s and highs in the upper 60s under mostly sunny skies. There may be some high, thin clouds creating a milky white look to the sky, but it will be otherwise mostly clear. Be sure to get out and enjoy it!
Saturday evening will be clear with temperatures falling fairly quickly. It will head into the lower 50s towards the midnight hour after starting in the 60s early in the evening. Any folks headed to a sunrise Easter church service will want to bring a jacket or light sweater. Morning lows will be around 40 degrees. The sun will quickly warm us up on Easter afternoon as highs head for the middle 70s! It will be an absolutely picture perfect day weather-wise.
The temperature continues to climb on Monday ahead of our next weather maker. Highs will soar in the upper 70s! A few showers or storms will be possible after dark on Monday night. Showers and isolated thunderstorms become more likely late Monday night and on Tuesday as our next cold front crosses the region.
Starting off in the 60s for your Saturday evening. Clear skies and fairly calm winds will allow the temperature to drop pretty quickly though. You might want to take a light jacket out if you plan to be outside late.
Expect similar conditions on Saturday to Friday. The main difference will be highs slightly cooler than yesterday. A light northeast breeze will keep temperatures in the middle to upper 60s.
The weather really could not get much better for this holiday Easter weekend! It gets even warmer on Monday, but some showers and storms develop Monday evening and persist into Tuesday. Slightly cooler next week behind that system.
