Easter Treat Boxes

Use a round mini container to make a chick and lamb.  For the chick you will need small pieces of craft foam or cardstock, pipe cleaners and google eyes.   The supplies for the lamb are google eyes, mini pom poms and scraps of white and pink craft foam or cardstock. Glue a pom pom on the back of of the container for the tail. If you want to add feet, glue a pom pom on the bottom of the container in each corner.  Glue google eyes on the front of the container, and finish the face with a marker.  Fill with jelly beans, or your favorite Easter candy. To make the ears, cut a white pipe cleaner in half and fold each of the halves into long loops.  Glue the ears on the lid of a container.  A hot glue gun works best to glue on the ears, so use caution if making with small children.   • Using the lid of the container as a guide, cut a circle out of craft foam or cardstock, and glue it to the top of the lid. Leave a little part of the top and bottom of the circle unglued for pieces to be added later.   Cut two football shape wings and attach them to the sides of the circle.   Glue on the eyes, and a  small piece of orange pipe cleaner for the beak.  Yellow pieces of pipe cleaner or a feather can be added to the  top of it's head under the craft foam.   The legs are made from orange pipe cleaner pieces glued to lid under the craft foam. 
  • Glue mini pom poms around the outside edge of the lid.  The ears and mouth are made out of scraps of craft foam, and glued into place. While the nose is drawn on in the picture. craft foam can be used for the nose as well.   Glue on the google eyes, or draw them on if you prefer.
