Dry and warm weather continues with abundant sunshine for Easter Sunday

High pressure will continue to dominate our weather for Easter Sunday with dry and mild weather, along with abundant sunshine. As high pressure slides east of the region into the start of the new workweek, temperatures will warm even more thanks to a southwesterly flow around the departing high.

A cold front and associated low pressure system approaching from the Great Lakes on Tuesday will then bring the next chance of widespread rain showers, possibly lingering into early Wednesday before drier and cooler weather arrives with high pressure into the mid-week period.
