“It’s supposed to be spring time!” “Why is it snowing again?” “Mommy, why can’t I go outside and play?” Winter has dragged on for what feels like an eternity, and the kids are more than ready to get outside and play. Unfortunately, according to the forecast, you have more grey, dreary days ahead. The kids know that it’s not your fault (if you could control the weather, it would be seventy-five, sunny, and beautiful), but they’re also driving you up a wall with the constant complaining! You’ve got to do something with them—and unfortunately, you’re running out of creative ideas. Since you’ve already used most of your ideas more than once over the course of the winter, they’re familiar with all of them—and they aren’t cutting it anymore, either. What’s a mom to do?
