Cat litter is very difficult to dispose of and can take up to 5 years to decompose.  The new and hip cat prefers woodchip, sawdust and whole corn kernel.  This enviromentally friendly kinds of litter will almost make you as enlightened as your cat.  Easier said than done; cloth diapers instead of retro plastic ones.  A soiled Huggie takes up to 500 years to decompose.  It's an unpleasant task to begin with.  At least, you'll be talk of the town amongst the playground Mothers. Enjoy the joys of consignment shop shopping.  A beat up pair of Levi’s is much more comfortable than the stiff fresh pressed pair sold at the local Walmart.  View the list »

  • Choose clothing materials that sprouted from the ground not a chemistry beaker.  And, remember you don't want your 'legal marijuana' laced with stuff, your cat doesn't want their nip tainted either.  Buy organic!
  • When dialing up Dominos, ask the check-out guy or girl to hold the little plastic table that goes in the middle off the pie.  You’ve got a dining table at home another one is not needed.   
  • For goodness sake, give up Trident or Wrigley’s.  Most chewing gum is made of plastic.  Give the habit up cold turkey.  Humans aren’t dogs chewing on Kong’s.  
  • Use washable Feminine Hygiene Products.  Sure it’s a big mess but you made it.  Playtex certainly wasn't around during the Wild West era and those gals managed to survive. 
  • State how earth friendly you are on a Polyrecovery T-shirt made from 100% recycled plastic.  Start a trend that can't be bought on the QVC channel. 
  • Choose clothing materials that sprouted from the ground not a chemistry beaker.  Hemp was our soul source of material before cotton bullied it's way in.  You can't smoke it but you'll get high knowing you've made a contribution to a greener earth.
