Disney's animated family film "Frozen" rose from second to first place at the box office this weekend. The film earned an additional $31.6 million in domestic receipts during its third weekend in theaters and $134 million since its debut. "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" dropped from first to second place earning an additional $27 million. This sequel to "The Hunger Games" has earned a total of $337 million since its debut three weeks ago. The new Christian Bale film "Out of the Furnace" debuted in third place at the box office. The film earned $5.3 million. "Thor: The Dark World" came in fourth place earning an additional $4.74 million and the comedy "Delivery Man" rose one spot, landing in 5th place at the box office. "Delivery Man" earned an additional $3.77 million and has garnered a total of $24.8 million since its debut three weeks ago.
Next weekend watch for two new films to shake-up the box office charts. Debuting this Friday, Dec. 13 are "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" and the holiday comedy "Tyler Perry's A Medea Christmas."
