Disney on Ice: Let’s Celebrate plays at the Sprint Center on Friday March 28 and Saturday March 29. Mickey and Minnie Mouse celebrate an Unbirthday Party with Alice and the Mad Hatter; Mardi Gras with Princess Tiana and a Valentine’s Day Ball with the Disney Princesses among other events.

The Heartland Men’s Chorus and the Gateway Men’s Chorus of St. Louis present “I Am Harvey Milk” on Saturday March 29 at 8 p.m. and Sunday March 30 at 4 p.m. at the Folly Theater in Kansas City. This is the story of Harvey Milk a San Francisco City Supervisor and advocate of gay right who was murdered 11 months into his term. Tom Lancaster stars as Harvey Milk.

Aftershock

Aftershock Bar located at 5244 Merriam Dr. in Merriam, Kan.  Friday March 28 at 7 p.m. Slam Radio and Metalurgee Presents Chuk Cooley and the Demon Hammers.  Saturday the club features on the main stage The Ladies of Slam.  The doors open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m.

Davey’s Uptown Ramblers Club is located just south of downtown at 3402 Main in Kansas City.  Friday night the club presents Famous Seamus and the Travelbongs, Cowgirly Train Set, and Whiskey for the Lady at 8:30 p.m.  Saturday night at 9 p.m. the club features on the main stage Cameron Russell.

Kelly’s Westport Inn located at 500 Westport Road, in the Westport Entertainment District, will feature on stage Old No. 5’s at 10 p.m.  At 10 p.m. on Saturday night, Wonderfuzz takes the main stage.  Kelly’s Westport Inn has an outdoor dining and drinking area located on the rooftop of the business.

The RecordBar is located at 1020 Westport Road in the Westport Entertainment District.   On Friday night at 7 p.m., the club presents Drunkard’s Dream and at 10 p.m. Akkilles, Buffalo Rodeo, and Magic High takes the stage.  Saturday at 7 p.m. the club features Riptide 60’s and 70’s Rock and Roll at 10 p.m. A Night of Joc Maxx with Reach, Sounds Good, DJ Atamic, DJ Maxx, Smooth C, and DJ Skeme take the stage.

The Riot Room is located just north of Westport Road at 4048 Broadway in the Westport Entertainment District. Friday night from 7 to 9 p.m. Electric City presents:  Chilliot.  On Saturday night from 8 to 119 p.m. Electric City presents:  Ladies Choice and evening of flow with B-Girls, Graffiti Artist, and Resident DJ on the main stage.

Uptown Arts Bar

The Uptown Arts Bar is located at Valentine and Broadway near the Uptown Theater.  The bar is a celebration of the performing arts in the Kansas City area.  On Friday at 9 p.m., the club hosts Juxtapose:  DJ House and Techno with kctechno.com.  On Saturday at 7 p.m., the club features A Night with John Frikus and Friends, an evening of mentalism, magic, and music.
