Disney Offers Two Ways to Experience Culture of "Frozen"

With opening box office tallies of more than $90 million, Disney's "Frozen" is riding high as the animation studio's largest opening ever. The movie, which is a twist on the Hans Christian Andersen tale "The Snow Queen," draws heavily on the culture and landscapes of Norway. And now, Disney is showcasing the inspiration for "Frozen" for guests of its theme parks and guided tours.

If the shimmering fjords and snow-capped mountains of "Frozen" captured your imagination, Adventures by Disney is now offering an eight-day, seven-night guided tour of Norway designed to showcase Norse culture for families. And if you're visiting Epcot at Walt Disney World, the Stave Church in the World Showcase has been transformed into a showpiece of Norse culture, with a display borrowed from the largest collection of Norwegian artifacts in the country.
