The gym? Please, there's a virus going around and an expanding keister works for Kim Kardashian.

You're really not going to get serious about salads and juicing until the temp rises above 40 for a week straight, say March, so enjoy, live in the moment and sup at these fine eateries with dishes to soothe your chilled soul.

Duck into TWO

Chef Tom Van Lente's Duck Pasta was on the top five things I put in my mouth in 2013 (insert joke here). Whether you were stood up at the altar or you did not get that sure thing job, a plate of TWO's duck pasta is like Xanex for your soul. You'll recall said betrothed or job after eating this and say, "Whatever."

Van Lente’s signature dish (the only item that’s been on the menu since day one) is a duck trifecta. Freshly made duck egg fettuccine is topped with rich duck confit, crispy duck skin cracklins, and generous amount of Wisconsin Parmesan.

I rest my case.

Bring a friend along for your descent into naughtiness because Mercadito's breaded chicken and sausage sandwich big enough for two, and topped with avocado, black bean hash, and pickled jalapenos. It's a preview of what's coming to Mercadito Counter.

The massive Torta de Milanesa is available from Jan.13-19.

This little piggy went to Market

Little Market Brasserie is giving you the excuse to cheat on your 2014 diet.

Throughout January 2014, post pictures of  indulgent treats at the restaurant to Instagram, using the hashtag #GuiltyatLittleMarket and the user whose post has the most likes at the end of the month will win a dinner for two with wine pairings.

Some suggestions for blowing a diet would include favorites like the Big Baby double cheeseburger; the all-day grilled cheese with bacon; or the Chipotle lobster roll with cabbage slaw.
