Will we have six more weeks of winter? Groundhog Day is Feb. 2, 2013 and those who don't like cold weather are wondering if the famous groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil will see his shadow on Saturday.
UPDATE: Phil Groundhog Punxutawney Phil announces spring will come early in 2013
At approximately 7:24 a.m. on Feb. 2, Phil will emerge from his temporary home on Gobbler's Knob near Punxsutawney, PA.
According to folklore, if the groundhog doesn't see his shadow, spring will come early. If he does see his shadow, then he will hibernate while we suffer through six more weeks of winter.
