Foodie adventures abound in Colorado and one favorite spot in the Rocky Mountain high country is the Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa. This year they are once again hosting several culinary adventures including chef demo classes and dinner, brewmaster events, a field to table paella dinner and James Beard Foundation Dinner.
Located in Tabernash Colorado, (just outside Winter Park) culinary and craft beer enthusiasts hankering for knowledge and dining entertainment have many enticing options which can package culinary and destination outings into one fabulous getaway.
Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa’s culinary and dining programs are headed by Executive Chef Evan Treadwell.
Known for his charismatic presence and creative approach to working with local growers to create innovative menus and wine lists, Chef TreadwelI is building upon Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa's reputation for sustainably focused cuisine that offers diners a casual and inventive approach to dining.

Cost: $85/person is inclusive of demonstration cooking class, three-course meal with wine pairings, apron and recipe book. Class size is limited and advanced reservations are required and are encouraged to be made well in advance.
Time: 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. class followed by three-course dinner and wine pairings.

James Beard Foundation Dinner at the Ranch
October 4, 2013 - The mission of the James Beard Foundation is to celebrate, nurture and preserve America’s diverse culinary heritage and future. Prominent and talented chefs are invited to join their efforts by hosting James Beard Foundation dinners to showcase their culinary abilities and honor that mission.
Cost: $200/person; $150/James Beard Foundation members
