It is said to be one of the most nutrient rich herbs in the entire plant system. Since ancient times it has been used for it's healing properties and support of healing the liver.

As with any natural herb you should take precautions with use and check for allergic reactions. According to Medline Plus, if you have allergies to other plants such as daisies, marigolds or chrysanthemums you may also be allergic to Dandelion. Remember to consult with your physician before taking any thing new to lower your risk of problems. It should not be taken along with diuretics or any narcotics that may be associated with them. Drugs that lower your blood sugar could be intensified and should therefore be taken with caution.
