Even though the income tax was made constitutional with the 16th Amendment, this tax is not levied uniformly because some people pay more than others.

Since time and the Oklahoma Priority Academic Student Skills (PASS) and Common Core objectives give a cursory glance of the United States Constitution in Oklahoma American history classes, this list will provide a more comprehensive look into the constitutional powers granted to Congress. The Constitution grants 18 powers to the legislative branch. Many laws passed today may not fall under the umbrella of these powers. This list will look at the first three.
