Comedian and Oscar winner Robin Williams was found dead this morning at only 63 years of age.
Williams reportedly died from a suspected suicide according to the Investigations and Coroner Divisions of the Sheriff’s Office with a more intensive "investigation into the manner and circumstances of the death currently underway. Preliminary information developed during the investigation indicates Mr. Williams was last seen alive at his residence, where he resides with his wife, at approximately 10:00 pm on August 10, 2014."
“Robin Williams passed away this morning. He has been battling severe depression of late. This is a tragic and sudden loss. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time," Robin William's publicist issued in a statement.
Nominated for Best Actor - Academy Award three times, Williams went on to win the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Good Will Hunting in 1997. He also received two Emmy Awards, four Golden Globes, two Screen Actors Guild Awards and five Grammy Awards in his prestigious career in entertainment.
William was scheduled to play his role as Theodore Roosevelt in the third installment of Night at the Museum set to release in December 2014. Along with recently signing on to play his famous role as Mrs. Doubtfire in a sequel to the classic 1993 film.
