The Final Four is set and ready to go on Saturday with a couple surprise teams advancing to the final weekend. Surprisingly enough, two of the teams hail from the SEC. The Florida Gators have been unbeatable, so their ascension to the most coveted weekend was not a surprise.
However, Kentucky was under seeded and they weren’t looked upon as real title contender at the start of the tournament. Still, the Wildcats have struck gold for three straight games. Although they are the lowest remaining seed, some people may have Kentucky as the favorite.
Connecticut is another surprise team that made it to Dallas. UCONN had a low seed and survived a certain loss in the first round. After winning in overtime, they’ve been playing lights out basketball.
Connecticut is the last team to beat Florida, so the Huskies know what it takes to actually beat the Gators.
Wisconsin is the only Big 10 team in the Final Four. They also might be the most entertaining team to watch this weekend. Although they are undersized, the Badgers need to rebound with Kentucky for 40 minutes.
