A cool front will move through the Columbus area very early Friday morning. This will cause quite a few clouds for the start of your day. A leftover sprinkle or two cannot be ruled out, but most areas will be dry. Expect morning temperatures in the middle 60s out the door.
Skies will slowly turn clear throughout the day on Friday. This will mean a slow rise in the temperature for the morning hours, but faster warming by the afternoon when the sun comes out. The humidity will be dropping throughout the day, but highs will still reach the lower to middle 80s even behind the cold front.
Friday night will be a fantastic night to spend outside. Temperatures will fall through the 70s and even dip into the 60s by 11 p.m. If you have any plans to be out really late, you might want a light jacket! Definitely take the chance to get outside and enjoy another taste of early fall-like weather.
The beautiful weather will stick around on Saturday as high pressure moves overhead. Low humidity and pleasant temperatures will combine to make for a picture perfect day. Highs will once again be in the lower to middle 80s. Evening temperatures on Saturday will fall through the 70s and into the 60s by late evening.
Warmer weather will start to build back in on Sunday. Highs will head for the middle to even upper 80s and the humidity will make a slight increase. All in all, it will still be a great day weather-wise.
A large ridge of high pressure in the upper atmosphere will begin to build in from the west for the majority of next week. This will send a surge of warm, humid air from the south into the Ohio Valley. Highs could approach 90 for a couple days next week. Even if it stays in the upper 80s, the humid atmosphere will likely make it feel like the 90s nearly every day. Get ready for more summer!
