E. Stanley Jones was a 20th century Methodist missionary and theologian. Jones spent much time in India with Mahatma Gandhi and the Nehru family.  He is sometimes considered the "Billy Graham of India."  Altogether Jones wrote 28 books and was named by Time Magazine as the "world's greatest missionary" in 1938.  Abundant Living is the sequel to Victorious Living.  Through the writings of E. Cowman.  She was one of the cofounders of The Oriental Missionary Society, later known as OMS International and now known as One Mission Society.
  • My Utmost for His Highes is one of the best selling Christian devotionals.While Chambers was not well known during his lifetime, most of his works were published after he died in 1917 at the age of 43.  Chambers died in Cairo after complications from an appendectomy.  My Utmost for His Highest was was published in 1924.  The title comes from one of Chambers' sermons.  It has been translated into more than 39 languages.
