We are starting off with one of the coolest mornings since the middle of August! In fact, it may turn out to be the coolest morning since the first week of June. Temperatures will be around 50 degrees in the city to start off your Friday. However outlying areas will almost certainly be in the middle to upper 40s. So take the jacket when you head out the door and grab the shades as well because we will see nothing but beautiful sunshine all morning.
That sunshine will persist for the entire day today just like yesterday. A few clouds may develop here and there during the peak heating hours of the afternoon. Even so, we will still call it mostly to completely sunny for your Friday forecast. Because of the chilly start, highs will not be quite as warm as Thursday when we hit the lower 80s. Expect temperatures in the upper 60s for lunchtime and upper 70s by the late afternoon.
Tonight could be one of the best evenings of the entire season to be outside. It seems like Mother Nature keeps handing us quite a few of these perfect weather days. This may not last for all of fall so take advantage now! The only thing you will need to be prepared for the weather tonight is a jacket. Temperatures will drop off quickly under clear skies and with a dry air mass in place. Expect a temperature of around 61 degrees by 10 p.m. Lows will once again be cool down into the lower and middle 50s.
The gorgeous weather will continue right into your Saturday. The Buckeyes play San Diego State right here in Columbus at 3:30 p.m. Take the sunscreen and the shades because it will be another great day. Some clouds may start to role in by very late in the afternoon and into the evening hours. It will be warmer with highs in the middle 80s.
A weak weather system may bring a shower or two to the region overnight Saturday into Sunday. Right now the chance appears very low at just 20 percent. This means the weekend is looking dry for the most part.
