Platform lovers, no need to be heartbroken just yet, some of this season's sandals will still feature the beloved sole. Get ready to breathe new life into your wardrobe by incorporating the latest shoe trends for spring.
A big change comes in the style of heel, or lack of heel, being seen in shoe trends for the season. Flats, kitten heels and flatforms are really popular right now. Choose your favorite color, pattern or embellishment and wear these comfortably chic shoes to work or for a night out. Other shoes this season will feature a chunky or block heel. This type of heel is also a little more comfortable and easier to walk in than the skinnier heels we have seen in past seasons.
Other big trends in shoes include bold colors, clear or mesh designs, metallic styles and accents, and cap toe styles. Be on the look out for sexy strappy styles for spring too. Strappy sandals were seen all over the Spring 2013 runways.
