Oscar winner and comedian Robin Williams was found dead in his home on Monday, August 11, 2014. The death has been confirmed by multiple media sources as well as the Marin County Sheriff's office. A preliminary coroner's report indicated the matter was being investigated as a suicide, and that Williams had died from asphyxiation.
